Björke School is located in Igelfors and caters to students from preschool to sixth grade.

The school has approximately 40 students divided into three groups: F-1, grades 2-3, and grades 4-6. We are a close-knit team that enjoys working together in a smaller setting. We have very favorable conditions for learning, and our learning environments, both indoors and outdoors, are inspiring.

What can we offer you?

As a teacher for students in grades 4-6, you will be responsible for all theoretical teaching as well as crafts and music. Collaboration among staff is a cornerstone at Björke School, and we therefore see that you have good collaborative skills. You will be a mentor for about 20 students, which means you will have good conditions for conducting differentiated teaching.

Your future tasks

You are expected to be able to create good and safe relationships with students and establish close cooperation with guardians. As a teacher, you are responsible for the educational activities, including planning, teaching, evaluation, and assessment. You will find strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth, and you work with the student group as a strength where you see that differences enrich.

The role also involves

Leading and organizing your work to create a pleasant and safe learning environment for students. You work effectively with digital tools as a lever for learning. Based on scientific principles and proven experience, you want to actively participate in developing the school's activities.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher for grades 4-6 or grades 1-7. We would like you to be interested in and have experience with digital tools in teaching. Our students work with Chromebooks. You have the ability to motivate and create learning and learning environments characterized by inclusion and varied working methods. You have the ability to see and meet each student and start from what works. You are clear in your leadership role, used to collaborating in teams, have a positive view of students, and assume that students can and want to learn.
