We are looking for a sustainability coordinator for an assignment in Stockholm.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is part-time, at fifty percent.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The client is responsible for the expansion of:

• Subway to Nacka and southern suburbs
• Subway to Barkarby
• Subway to Arenastaden
• Depot in Högdalen

As a sustainability officer in the investigation of the subway to Bromma airport area, you will ensure that the sustainability perspective is integrated into the investigation and guides the project's strategic choices and decisions.

You will work closely with specialist functions and project management to review, develop, and steer the sustainability work in the location investigation. A central part of the assignment is to ensure that sustainability is treated as a fully integrated aspect in the analysis of location alternatives.

The role requires a systematic and methodical approach, where you are responsible for contributing to ensuring that sustainability issues are part of the project's decisions, choices, and processes. You will follow and influence the organization's work by challenging and verifying the methodology for how sustainability is valued in different location alternatives. You will ensure that analytical tools and indicators are well anchored in sustainability governance and that results can be traced and evaluated in a robust manner.

The sustainability work aims to ensure that the proposed public transport solutions have a high socio-economic benefit for all groups in the population and contribute to reduced car dependency. At the same time, the investigation must ensure that the solutions have a limited environmental impact in accordance with Swedish legislation and national and regional climate and sustainability goals.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Relevant higher education for the assignment with at least a bachelor's degree. At least 10 years of professional experience working with sustainability issues in the construction and civil engineering industry, including strategic considerations in early investigation phases. Experience in coordinating at least one project working with sustainability certification according to Breeam Infrastructure or equivalent certification system where the consultant has led or been involved in work with certification processes within sustainability, such as Breeam Infrastructure, Ceequal, or equivalent systems. At least 5 years of experience working with climate impact and resource efficiency in infrastructure investigations or construction projects, focusing on early phases and strategic choices. Climate impact and resource efficiency refer to work with, for example, climate calculations, material choice analysis, energy consumption, optimized mass management, circular material flows, and climate aspects within the infrastructure sector. At least 5 years of documented experience in managing and following up sustainability work in larger infrastructure or urban development projects.

Meritorious

At least 5 years of professional experience from rail infrastructure in investigation and planning phases. At least 3 years of documented professional experience working in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including public authorities and municipalities, in investigation phases. The role involves dialogue and coordination with, for example, municipalities, the Transport Administration, County Administrative Boards, and other authorities in the early stages of infrastructure development.
