We are looking for an experienced Project Manager for railway infrastructure projects

We are seeking a Railway Infrastructure Project Manager for an exciting assignment. The project aims to improve existing infrastructure through measures on a bridge, where durability, lifespan, and maintenance needs will be enhanced. The work is carried out in a busy facility and requires experience with complex railway projects.

About the assignment

As the Railway Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the project's activities, including scheduling, cost tracking, risk management, and quality assurance. The role also involves a central function in commissioning and handing over project deliveries.

Responsibilities include:

-Leading and executing the project in accordance with the established project plan, budget, and schedule.

-Ensuring that the project is conducted according to the project management system (PPH) and other guidelines and strategies.

-Being responsible for coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

-Monitoring the contractor's work and following up on deliveries, contracts, and requirements.

-Conducting risk management, financial tracking, and reporting to program and portfolio management.

-Planning and ensuring a smooth transition to operation and maintenance, including documentation and final inspections.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

-At least 5 years of project management experience in railway or infrastructure projects, particularly in busy facilities.

-Experience with contract law, procurement, and financial management in projects.

-The ability to work systematically and independently in large project organizations.

-Good knowledge of risk management, scheduling, and budget tracking.

-Experience in communication and collaboration with authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Location and Work Environment

-Location: Stockholm, with a workplace at the office in Kungsholmen and on the project's work areas.

-Working hours: 20 hours per week, with the possibility of extension up to 40 hours per week.

-Possibility for remote work may exist, depending on project needs.
