The Land and Development Department is responsible for developing and managing the municipality's land, where we handle strategic land issues, land transfers, leases, and real estate legal matters. Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities may include:

• Ongoing matters related to the legal management of the municipality's land and development work
• Preparation and analysis of various types of new and existing lease agreements
• Development of working methods and routines for the management of the municipality's land
• Monitoring and keeping both yourself and the department updated on the development of land management in general
• Contract management of the municipality's agreements related to land management
• Administration and handling of GIS systems
• Providing general real estate legal support within the municipality
• Negotiating with landowners and other parties
• Project managing and coordinating more complex land-related projects
• Assisting development and infrastructure projects with real estate legal expertise

Qualifications:

• Education in surveying (preferably with a legal focus), urban development, or real estate law, or other education that can be considered equivalent
• Understanding of law and ability to conduct legal investigations and assessments
• Interest in land ownership issues, law, and urban development
• Experience in hunting and wildlife management is an advantage
• Experience in public administration and case management is an advantage
• Experience in development work and project management is an advantage
