We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented consultant for a role as a project manager on behalf of an industry organization. One of Newr's economic consultants also works with the client. The role involves overall responsibility for leading and conducting a vocational competition from start to finish. You will work in a dynamic and multifaceted environment with many stakeholders, where you play a central role in ensuring a successful execution of competitions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and be responsible for the entire competition operation, from planning to completion. Ensure that the project is carried out within given frameworks and budget.
• Communication & Collaboration: Plan and implement information initiatives to schools and industry organizations, as well as participate in various forums with partners to share relevant information about the organization's participation.
• Coordination: Hold regular meetings with expert judges, officials, and regions. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with industry organizations, schools, and other partners.
• Logistics & Coordination: Be responsible for coordinating food, transport, and accommodation for participants (judges, competitors, officials, etc.). Ensure material and tool deliveries in collaboration with suppliers and sponsors, and coordinate the establishment of the event.
• Evaluation & Follow-up: Compile financial reporting and experiences for future competitions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least two years of project management experience, preferably in the construction industry. Experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing effectively.
• Education: Post-secondary education in project management or similar
• Language & Tools: Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
