Göthriks School is a F-6 school with an associated after-school program. The school has over 180 students and is located in Hunnestad, about ten kilometers east of central Varberg, just a stone's throw from the World Heritage Site Grimeton Radio Station.

The after-school program is age-integrated and has about 100 enrolled students. We focus a lot on outdoor activities. Movement and experience-based pedagogy are at the center, with dance as a recurring element.

Göthriks School is known for its good results and high ambitions from both staff and students. The school has a large proportion of qualified teachers and dedicated staff. In daily work, teachers focus on clarity and structure in teaching and communicate/inform via digital platforms.

All students are offered an equivalent education of good quality in a stimulating and safe environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes teaching grades 1-3 with associated planning, implementation, assessment, documentation, and follow-up. Regular teacher tasks such as teamwork, communication with guardians, and collaboration with colleagues and student health teams are included in the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach grades F-3 in Swedish, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. If you are also qualified to teach Mathematics and Science in grades 4-6, that is an advantage.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific grounds with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
