Ankarskolan is a modern equipped F-9 school located in Träslövsläge, southwest of central Varberg, close to the sea and nature. Approximately 575 students attend the school's airy and fresh premises.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a teacher of French and English, preferably in combination with Swedish for grades 6-9. Your role includes planning, implementing, and analyzing varied and differentiated teaching.

The work involves teaching in grades 6-9 where you will be part of a small team around a grade with good colleagues, where you together are responsible for and develop the teaching. As part of the work, you will take responsibility for and meet students with special needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about meeting each student where they are and who wants to develop their work together with others to help our students find motivation for learning and reach as far as they can. You will do this in close collaboration with your colleagues and together with the school's student health team.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest driving force. Together with your colleagues, you shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is in focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certified teacher for teaching in the subjects of French, English, and possibly Swedish for grades 6-9. We place great importance on your ability to create good relationships with students as it is a key part of motivation-building learning.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operation by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
