Sibbarps School belongs to the Bosgård School principal area and is located in the picturesque Sibbarp, about 25 km southeast of Varberg town. The school gathers approximately 65 students in the range of grades F-6, and it has an integrated after-school care.

Our educators work collegially every week on teaching development in various areas to adjust our teaching to ensure it is as beneficial as possible for our students. Our goal is to be a school accessible to all students where they can develop as far as possible towards both social and academic goals. Accessible learning environments and teaching, safety, study peace, and well-being are important focuses that are always at the forefront of planning all parts of our operations.

In our facilities, children and youth have the opportunity to develop with peers while being surrounded by students from preschool to grade 6. We work in both mixed-age and age-homogeneous groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a qualified teacher for our oldest teaching group 5/6 for a temporary position in the latter part of the spring term 2025. You will primarily work together with your colleagues at the school, and you will have your own lessons where you plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching and assess students' results, both formatively and summatively.

You will also, like other colleagues, be responsible for ensuring that the tasks of the work team are carried out (purchases, participation in groups, etc.). Since the school has an integrated after-school care, it may sometimes be necessary for teachers in primary school to contribute time as well.

The position is temporary from 2025-04-07 to 2025-06-18.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach grades 4-6 in the subjects of mathematics, Swedish, English, social studies, and physical education.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
