Sibbarps School belongs to the Bosgård School principal area and is located in the picturesque Sibbarp, about 25 km southeast of Varberg town. Approximately 65 students from grades F-6 attend the school, which has an integrated after-school program.

Our educators work collaboratively every week on teaching development in various areas to enhance our teaching, ensuring it benefits our students as much as possible. Our goal is to be a school accessible to all students where they can develop as far as possible towards both social and academic goals. An accessible learning environment and teaching, safety, study peace, and well-being are important focuses that are always at the forefront of planning all parts of our operations.

In our facilities, children and young people have the opportunity to develop alongside their peers while being surrounded by students from preschool to grade 6. We work in both mixed-age and age-homogeneous groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching in Swedish, mathematics, English, science, and social studies.

You will primarily work with your colleagues at the school, and you will have your own lessons where you plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching and assess students' results, both formatively and summatively.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the tasks of the work team are carried out (purchases, participation in groups, etc.) just like your other colleagues.

Since the school has an integrated after-school program, it may sometimes be necessary for elementary school teachers to contribute time as well.

The position is temporary from 2025-08-11 to 2025-12-19.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-3 in the subjects of mathematics, Swedish, English, social studies, and science.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the organization by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable working environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
