About the role

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of Monitor's development department, located at our headquarters in Hudiksvall. Here, you will work in an innovative and stimulating environment together with colleagues to drive the development of Monitor ERP forward.

In this role, you will analyze business areas within ERP where data-driven solutions can create value through AI and machine learning. You will collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to define business needs, develop requirements specifications, and create advanced analytical models.

Your main responsibilities:

• Define and document business needs and requirements for AI and analytics projects.
• Work closely with developers to build and improve analytical models and predictions.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify and solve business challenges with AI and data analysis.
• Develop and implement data-driven insights to optimize business processes.
• Create methods for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets with a focus on data quality.
• Stay updated on new technologies and methods in AI and data analysis to strengthen Monitor's products.

To thrive in this role, you should recognize yourself in the following:

• Relevant academic degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis and data analysis.
• Solid experience in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Knowledge of SQL and programming languages such as Python, R, or C# (meritorious).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leadership and decision-making roles (meritorious).
• Experience working agile and with cross-functional teams (meritorious).
