RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two experienced software developers to join one of our development teams within Development and IT. The team's responsibilities are central to Lantmäteriet, and we are now facing exciting development initiatives, thus the team needs to be strengthened. In this role, you are expected to have a willingness to participate and contribute to various current issues within software development. You will work on continuous improvements and have a drive to develop within the field.

You will be part of an agile delivery team that works with both management and development. The team primarily works with backend and DevOps but also with some frontend development.

We use automation (Ansible, CI/CD, and testing) as a natural part of our working method and utilize, for example, Podman/Containers and OpenShift. We primarily develop in Python but also in Java, JavaScript, and PHP. Our agile delivery teams are independent and have great freedom to choose appropriate technologies, tools, and working methods.

The location for this position is at our headquarters in Gävle.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a few years of work experience as a software developer. It is advantageous if you have a university degree in IT. You can communicate in Swedish in a clear and constructive manner, both verbally and in writing. You have good knowledge of Python and experience working in a Linux environment.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of web development, preferably with Angular, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and an interest in working with DevOps. Experience with Agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban is also a plus.
