Every year, Försäkringskassan makes 24 million decisions that impact people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 250 billion SEK each year. These are everyone's tax funds that we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Software Development in Agile Teams

We continue to grow and need you to help us become even better together! As a software developer in the IT department, we collaborate, care about quality, and have a desire to develop together. You will be involved in the entire chain - analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. We exclusively work in agile teams with a strong focus on personal responsibility and a desire to continuously improve our operations and services to Försäkringskassan's customers.

As a software developer, you will work with your team to develop complex systems. This involves backend development in Java or frontend development. Together with the rest of the team, you will work on continuous integration, system analysis, technical testing, and test automation. Examples of tools and technologies you will encounter include Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Java, Vue, Jenkins, SonarQube, SoapUi, Git, OpenShift (container platform).

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong security awareness if you are to work with us.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has recent experience in software development
• has experience with agile working methods
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous working approach
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both spoken and written
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you

• have experience with testing and test automation
• have experience with DevOps, container technology, or OpenShift
• have experience with test-driven development (TDD)
• have experience with Java, Jenkins, Vue, IntelliJ, Eclipse, SpringBoot, Quarkus, or Kubernetes.
