Mor Gerd is a Gothenburg-based parent company with several subsidiaries. The focus of several of the companies is trade in timber and forest products, where we operate both in Sweden and internationally. We are now in need of a meticulous and ambitious accounting assistant who can manage the ongoing work with bookkeeping, ledgers, payments, taxes, VAT, and assist in year-end closing work. Responsibilities

- Ongoing bookkeeping, ledgers, payments, etc. for the companies included in our administration.

- VAT and tax declarations

- Accounting for one or more of the smaller companies we manage.

- Monthly closings and reconciliations.

- Participate in the year-end closing work, reconciliations, documentation in the year-end program Capego, etc.

- Documentation and archiving of company documents in a structured manner, primarily digitally, but also in physical archives where necessary.

- Other tasks in the finance department as needed.

Competence and Qualifications

- At least a high school education in finance/administration.

- At least 2 years of experience as an accounting assistant.

- Fluent in Swedish and English

- A personality that enjoys a dynamic environment, where there are great opportunities for personal development in the role of accountant, but also has the structure required in a finance department.

- A personal drive and ability to put in extra effort when needed during a year-end process or other events in the business.
