Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who matches the following:

• wants to work with a 13-year-old girl living in Värmdö
• enjoys singing and music
• has great patience and a playful personality

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license and access to a car or other means of transportation as public transport is limited on weekends where the client lives

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a "temporary employment" with great opportunities for work every month during weekends. Working hours vary between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM and/or 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will come if you proceed in the recruitment process.
