Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth everyday life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is pedagogical and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 5-year-old girl
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience in care and nursing, or in childcare
• has experience working with a pedagogical approach

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience working with epilepsy
• have experience with mobility impairments
• have experience with alternative communication
• have a B driver's license and access to a car

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. As an assistant, you will also receive thorough training to perform your tasks in the best way.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 30%. There is also an opportunity to work extra during vacant shifts. The scheduled working hours are every other weekend, daytime and evening, as well as extra during school breaks, weekday evenings, and other weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
