About us

The Care Administration is responsible for elderly care and care for people with disabilities.

The Authority Department has about forty employees. The case officers work to investigate, make decisions, and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL). Support is also provided by a senior case officer, a housing coordinator, and a discharge team. The case officers are divided into teams, one of which specifically works with discharge planning from hospitals. In addition, the department is responsible for fee processing, LSS handling, and handling of transport services and housing adaptation grants. The department is managed by a department head and two deputy department heads. The Care Administration's core values consist of three key values: trust, humanity, and professionalism.

What does the job entail?

Your mission as a case officer is to inform, guide, receive reports/applications, investigate, make individual needs assessments, and decide on interventions according to the Social Services Act, with the citizen in focus. The work includes continuously following up on ordered interventions. The department works continuously with operational development.

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications:

• Degree in social work (or equivalent higher education)
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations governing the work
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
• Good computer skills

The role of case officer requires you to be service-oriented, flexible, and structured as well as empathetic. You are clear in your communication and ensure that messages are conveyed. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you need to have the ability to collaborate well with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. As a person, you are engaged, mature, and can adapt to different situations when needed. You are loyal to the decisions made and have a holistic view of the individual and the operation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is a temporary contract until December 31. There may be an opportunity for extension.
