Job Description

We are now looking for all types of railway expertise for our offices in Mälardalen, Västerås, and Östergötland. We work with all phases of railway projects from early investigations to production. We are involved in design, construction, project management, inspection, and construction management. In our area, we are particularly strong in BEST and electrical power and want to continue building our teams in these areas. We are broadly seeking designers, engineers, inspection, and contracting expertise within the entire BEST+K as well as electrical power who can take on all exciting assignments. We are also interested in expertise in GOP, TSS, and TSB processes as well as inspection competence.

AFRY's railway organization is national with offices from Luleå to Malmö, and through close collaboration between sections/offices and technical areas, we together form a strong whole. Therefore, we can also offer flexible stationing locations according to your needs and preferences. We work with investigations, idea and feasibility studies, design of construction documents and management data, review, and inspection. Our assignments are often complex, and we work in interdisciplinary teams with some of AFRY's other 19,000 experts – we love it as it is both fun and developmental.

Currently, we are primarily looking for new colleagues for our offices in Solna, Västerås, Eskilstuna, and Norrköping.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in the railway industry within any of the technical areas of track, electricity, signaling, telecommunications, cabling, electrical power, or GOP. Alternatively, you may have experience working as a project or assignment manager within railway projects. You likely have a civil or university degree, but you may also have acquired equivalent knowledge in other ways.
