SJR IT is looking for an IT Support Technician

SJR IT is looking for you who are seeking a new challenge in IT support and can start your new employment in the near future. As a consultant with us at SJR IT, you will work with on-site support for one of our clients in central Uppsala. The assignment is expected to last about 8 months with the intention of continuing in an employment with our client.

About the position

We believe that you have worked for about 1-2 years in IT support previously and have a great interest in both technology and service. You will be based at our client's office in Uppsala city center and you will be part of a nice team of about 10 employees who enjoy doing things together even outside of work.

Main responsibilities

You will belong to a support function where you and your colleagues support customers with various technical problems. Your work will primarily be in a Windows environment and you will assist users via Active Directory. You will manage cases via phone, email, and a case management system. You will also work with troubleshooting both hardware and software, largely performed via remote tools.

Suitable background

We are looking for someone who has at least a high school diploma, preferably in IT or a technical field. You have worked in a similar role for about 1-2 years and enjoy supporting others. You have experience and knowledge in Windows and Active Directory. Furthermore, you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Personal qualities

As a person, you are service-minded, social, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating. You are a good problem solver and flexible in your working style. You are meticulous in your work and enjoy working in a structured manner.
