ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is seeking a full-time IT Support for our client in the pharmaceutical industry in Uppsala. In this role, you will serve as local IT support primarily working with service to employees in the company and ensuring that IT equipment functions properly. Your role will involve many different contact points and departments within the organization.

This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client. The assignment lasts for five to six months, and if the collaboration works well between all parties, there is a possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Support, you will work with:

• Maintenance of IT equipment
• Service support via phone, email, chat for users regarding hardware and software
• Administration of IT environments, such as user accounts, permissions, print queues
• Training users on systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a completed higher education in IT
• Has previous relevant work experience from similar positions
• Has good experience with peripherals, operating systems, networks, and information security
• Has good knowledge of the Office suite
• Has experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Easit BPS or Artologik Helpdesk)
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English, as the work is conducted in both languages
