Legal Assistant at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority

Do you have several years of experience in administrative work and want to learn more about the financial market? The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) is now looking for a legal assistant for the Markets area.

About the job

As a legal assistant in the Fund Licensing unit, Capital Market Law department, you will handle and register cases/documents, maintain registers, and process and prepare cases, primarily in the area of fund licensing. You will also compile statistics for case follow-up and provide administrative support to the unit's lawyers, unit manager, and student pool.

Your education and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

completed high school
knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
several years of relevant work experience with administrative tasks
excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

relevant post-secondary education such as paralegal, relevant KY education, or relevant courses from university and college
experience in case management within the judiciary or another authority
experience in record-keeping/registration
experience working with financial companies
knowledge of technical systems for registering information and/or cases.
