Job Description

Within the Project Management section, over fifty dedicated employees work with assignment and project management in AFRY's largest infrastructure and construction projects. The section also staffs assignments with support functions in Requirements, Quality, Risk, and Work Environment coordination. Production planning, AMA editors, and Project controllers. Together, we ensure progress in assignments from start to finish with careful and structured follow-up of both economy, timeline, and quality. The section is divided into five groups, and the Project and Design Management group consists of thirteen driven team players, all working within assignment management in one of AFRY's projects. The employees in the group have experience ranging from project engineers with a few years of experience to senior project managers with over twenty years of experience in driving multidisciplinary assignments within infrastructure and construction.

In the role of group manager, you will work half-time as an assignment manager in one of AFRY's projects, with the remaining time dedicated to working with the group. Main responsibilities as a group manager, in addition to personnel responsibility for the employees in the group, include ensuring both the employees' and the business's further development, as well as leading and coaching consultants in assignments. Together with the other group managers, you will drive the recruitment of new employees to the section and coordinate resources and bids. The five group managers of the section collectively form the section's management team, which, together with the section manager, works to continuously develop the section's market offering and refine the section's working methods.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date as soon as possible. As a group manager with us, you will be in the Solna office at least three days a week.

Qualifications

You are a social and outgoing person with a positive attitude. You communicate clearly and have the ability to convey your message effectively. You care about ensuring everyone feels good and is seen. You have a coaching leadership style and are driven by seeing employees succeed in achieving their goals. We believe you are a university or civil engineer and have many years of experience as an assignment manager in our area of expertise. Previous experience in a leadership position is an advantage.

You are a creative team player and want to be involved in developing both people, our strategy, and business to drive our operations and industry forward.
