Bra Liv Habo has approximately 10,700 registered patients and provides primary care in close cooperation with our nearest healthcare neighbors within Habo Municipality; home care, nursing homes, and family centers including BVC and MVC. Bra Liv Habo has about 37 employees.

Bra Liv Habo is the region's only HBTQI-certified health center and the primary care in Region Jönköping has been ranked as Sweden's best primary care for five consecutive years. We are proud of that!

The Role of District Physician

We at Bra Liv Habo Health Center are now looking for a district physician for a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement. The position includes some evening and weekend shifts at the Urgent Care Center. Experience in primary care and with Vårdcentralerna Bra Liv is particularly valued.

We are looking for someone with Swedish specialist competence in general medicine, as well as knowledge of the Swedish language at least at C1 level and a driver's license.

As a person, you should be able to work independently and with different professions. A varied job in a fast-paced environment, with diverse and usual tasks at the health center, where you receive scheduled and unscheduled doctor visits. We work in teams together with other doctors, nurses, and healthcare administrators. As a district physician, you are also available for younger colleagues, nurses, home care, etc., as needed. You can also act as a supervisor for younger colleagues, ST-, AT-, junior doctors, and students. You share your patient list with your mentees.

The health center's doctors are responsible for the BVC clinic, special housing, and dementia housing. Together with other health centers in the Jönköping area, we staff the Urgent Care Center in Jönköping on evenings and weekends.
