The Role of the Anesthesia Nurse

Working as an anesthesia nurse involves an exciting combination of anesthesiological care and advanced technology, where we strive to put the patient in focus. You are at the center of events where you are an important part of the surgical team with various professions working together for the best interest of the patient. It is important to be flexible in both thought and action, allowing you to make quick decisions. Your tasks include pre- and perioperative care.

As an anesthesia nurse, you are part of various alarm chains such as trauma, cardiac, and asphyxia alarms. Ambulance transports are also part of our work. We can offer independent work with great freedom under responsibility.

The Surgery and Intensive Care Clinic is one of the largest clinics in the hospital with about 160 employees in intensive care, surgical nursing, sterilization technology, and an administrative unit. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed specialist nurse in anesthesia. The position is permanent, and you can work during the day, but as you gain more experience, weekends/evenings may be included in the job. To thrive with us, we see that you are structured, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy working in a team. You are empathetic, calm, and stable. You feel in control in stressful situations and can focus on the right things under pressure. It is important to us that you feel a strong responsibility for your tasks and your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
