The Role of ST-Doctor

We are looking for ST-doctors in general medicine. The position is a permanent employment at 100%, but the degree of employment can be discussed according to your wishes. Start date by agreement.

With us, you will have a varied job at a well-functioning health center. You will receive planned and acute medical visits and will gradually work at the child health center and special housing. The health center is located 40 kilometers from the hospital, and our patients often choose us as their first option. Here, there are optimal conditions for broad learning in general medicine.

You will work Monday to Friday with some on-call duties in the evenings and weekends. Our operations are based on personal meetings. You should be able to collaborate with different people, and through your personal commitment and professional approach, you contribute to high medical quality and safety for our population. For those who will do basic service (BT) at the beginning of your ST, a temporary employment may initially be relevant with the aim of the employment transitioning to a permanent position. Your Future Workplace

Bra Liv Gnosjö Health Center is a medium-sized health center with approximately 10,000 registered patients and is the only health center in Gnosjö municipality. We are part of Bra Liv Health Centers, the county council-run primary care in Jönköping County, which consists of 31 health centers and is close to our patients throughout the county. Gnosjö Health Center has about 40 employees in various professions. We constantly work to ensure patient satisfaction, and we are all involved in improvement efforts. Together, we provide care with care, wholeness, and quality in focus.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level)
• Has a driver's license
• Can work independently but also together with various professional groups
• Is committed and responsible and understands the importance of good service
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operations together with us
• Is open to new knowledge and can serve as a knowledge resource for your colleagues
• Can adapt your work, approach, and attitude based on the patient and situation
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment

As an ST-doctor, your ST planning is done in collaboration between you, your supervisor, your manager, and the study director. With us, you will receive continuous guidance from experienced district doctors. ST-doctors in the healthcare area meet regularly with the study director. We are very proud of our ST program. Collaboration with Futurum, Region Jönköping County's research and education unit, and Qulturum, the region's unit for operational development and improvements, also makes it possible to develop in research or towards a future leadership role.
