The Role of the Midwife

As a midwife at the Women's Clinic, you will work in a team and meet women at all stages of life. We are committed and development-oriented, constantly working to improve the experience for our patients. Your skills, thoughts, and ideas will be a welcome contribution to this work.

Your Future Workplace

At the Women's Clinic, Ryhov County Hospital, a total of 210 employees work. We provide health and medical care during pregnancy and childbirth, aftercare, gynecological diseases, infertility, abortion and contraceptive services, as well as reproductive health for young people. Women's health care and the Youth Clinic are part of the Women's Clinic. The clinic has a regional responsibility for women with complicated pregnancies and threatened premature births. The Women's Clinic is a process-oriented clinic.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed midwife with at least two years of experience in obstetric care. You are confident in your role as a midwife and passionate about providing families with a good reception and a safe and positive childbirth experience and aftercare. This is a job for you who are communicative and have the courage to act even in situations that may challenge your calm and focus. You are an unpretentious, empathetic, and flexible person who can read different situations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Our Offer to You

We offer you a rotation position, which means you will work in two different units. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and nights. Weekend duty two weekends out of five.
