The Orthopedic Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset is now looking for a nurse for the orthopedic care unit A and B. Do you want a job with great variation, continuous development in your professional role, and to be part of a well-functioning team? Then you are welcome to join us!
The Role of the Nurse
In your role as the nursing responsible for orthopedic patients, you will work with varying injuries, from minor injuries to major traumas, as well as elective patients treated according to rapid recovery. As a nurse with us, you will experience natural variation and a broad competence within orthopedics as you switch between the two departments of the orthopedic clinic.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with work during days, evenings, and weekends. Some night shifts can be discussed.

The care unit consists of two departments; department A for patients with acute orthopedic diseases that need to be admitted for treatment, and department B for elective surgery. We use a structured approach to develop our care processes and work with continuous improvements.

We constantly work on improvements and further development of care based on new and evidence-based knowledge in collaboration with our patients. Region Jönköpings län is building for the future of care and is making significant investments in Höglandssjukhuset. The entire orthopedic clinic is located in the newly built house 37 in new, fresh, and well-adapted facilities for the operation that we are proud of.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and enjoy a varied job. As a person, you are humble, meticulous, structured, and take responsibility for your tasks that you independently drive forward. It is also important for us that you have a positive and professional attitude towards your tasks and your colleagues. Personal suitability is highly valued.

For newly graduated nurses, there is a unique and in-depth introduction and development program RIU with lectures, job shadowing, and reflections over approximately 20 days during a year. This gives you the opportunity to safely develop and grow in your professional role and meet others who are also new in their roles.
