The Department of Education in Vimmerby Municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to higher education, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and community orientation for newcomers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Enrichment Coach, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well-versed in the national curriculum for compulsory education and accustomed to working with applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory education system. With your extensive experience and knowledge of gifted education, you will support students with special talents in their schooling. This involves contributing to acceleration and deepening in teaching for students, organizing opportunities in the schedule to promote students' educational journey. The position also includes being a class teacher and teaching in ESK.

You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set by the national curriculum for compulsory education, contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the compulsory education mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development and to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the educational environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in mathematics and science subjects with the authority to teach grades 7-9. Ideally, you have experience teaching at the secondary level. You need to have documented experience and education in gifted education. You have a good understanding of the national curriculum for compulsory education and preferably experience in the teaching profession.

As a person, you are a confident leader who creates motivation and engagement among students and colleagues. You are attentive, open, and contribute to a positive collaborative climate where problems are solved constructively. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You are responsible and can plan and structure your work independently. At the same time, you are creative and are happy to contribute new ideas to develop the operations.
