The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is for the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality to have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well-versed in the preschool curriculum and work to ensure that its goals and intentions are realized in the activities. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set by the preschool curriculum, contributing to the fulfillment of the preschool's mission. Your task is to create the best conditions for children, parents, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the preschool's activities. We who work in preschool believe in the competent child with an innate desire to discover, experience, and learn. Through play and joyful learning, we want to stimulate and preserve children's natural curiosity. We want to give them time and space to think and reflect for themselves, as well as to harness their desire to learn. Therefore, we place great importance on creating conditions for all children to develop and learn.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher/teacher with the qualifications to teach in preschool.

As a person, we see that you are secure, stable, and positive. You are calm and attentive in your interactions, which helps you create good and trusting relationships with both children and adults. You easily collaborate with others and work to create an open and unpretentious climate of cooperation where innovation is encouraged, and everyone takes shared responsibility for achieving set goals. You have a creative flair and are happy to contribute thoughts and ideas that you also implement in practice to develop both the daily work and the organization as a whole. In this work, you also care about creating participation and engagement among both colleagues and children, and you encourage others to dare to take initiative, thus helping others to grow. Furthermore, we see that you are a communicatively skilled person with the ability to convey information clearly and pedagogically, adapting communication according to the recipient's needs and the current situation.
