Central Child and Student Health

We are looking for an employee with a pedagogical university degree to the central child and student health, mobile team!

Our workplace is permeated by KASAM and has very high results in employee surveys. With us, you will have a varied job, where you will have the opportunity to plan and structure your work based on your assignment. The mobile team currently consists of three special educators and one social educator.

Your Responsibilities

You work at the organizational, group, and individual levels. In your role, you are involved and have great opportunities to provide support and influence the development within schools. Your work focuses on health-promoting and preventive measures as well as remedial actions. You start from the healthy and work solution-oriented and relationally. Your tasks as an employee include:

Strengthening and supporting schools in their mission with pedagogical competence.
Participating in observations and investigations in the form of mapping, analysis, and assessment together with teachers or other educational staff.
Collaborating with external agencies such as Child and Youth Health, BUP, habilitation, and social services.
Collaborating with guardians.
Training in relevant subject areas.
Guidance/supervision to teachers and other educational staff.
Cooperating with schools regarding school absenteeism.

In the central child and student health, where you belong, there are several competencies. We who work here are special educators, speech therapists, social workers, ICT educators, and psychologists. We drive and develop student health issues in the municipality and work for a salutogenic and inclusive approach.

Our vision is to work together with schools to find solutions that create safety, development, and learning for students, staff, and parents. With students at the center and a belief that everyone does their best, we want to spread knowledge and understanding.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has a pedagogical university education or another relevant higher education. It is an advantage if you have experience of similar work within schools. We see that you have experience working with children/students who need special support and that you have knowledge of disabilities. A B driver's license and experience driving a manual transmission vehicle are required for the position.

You have a high degree of personal maturity, good ability to collaborate, are attentive, and can easily understand other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible to meet the needs of the organization. It is of great importance that you can work both in teams and independently.
