The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to higher education, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newcomers. Vimmerby Learning Center is Vimmerby municipality's adult education. Here you will also find Campus Vimmerby, and we work together to educate residents and ensure the competence supply for our municipality and region. We offer education for adults from adapted education and SFI, courses at basic and upper secondary levels to YH programs and higher education courses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach subjects included in the training for nursing assistants, primarily at Vimmerby Learning Center (Vimmerby municipality's municipal adult education). Teaching may also take place at Vimmerby High School as we are part of the same organization and collaborate on our mission to educate nursing assistants. Instruction will occur both in-person with students at the school and remotely with individualized setups for different students.

You will be part of a team with two colleagues who work together to develop both your own mission and the organization as a whole. We have close collaboration with the labor market in our municipality and region and participate in various collaboration forums.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a vocational teacher in healthcare and nursing subjects or are active in healthcare and nursing and possess the knowledge and experience required to teach these subjects.

As a person, you are responsible and comfortable planning and structuring your work based on applicable goals and quality standards within adult education. At the same time, we value innovative thinking in the organization and welcome you as a person who brings ideas and new thoughts that you also implement in practice to contribute to the development of both daily work and the organization as a whole. You are a flexible person who easily adapts when assignments and student demographics change - all for the benefit of the students and the organization.

You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to others in an open and attentive manner both in your teaching and in everyday work. In this way, you contribute to creating an open and unpretentious collaborative climate where questions and potential challenges can be resolved constructively and where everyone takes shared responsibility for achieving set goals.
