Målilla School is hiring a Leisure Teacher

Målilla School is an F-6 school that includes both regular and adapted primary education. We are a single-parallel school with approximately 170 students. Målilla School has three leisure centers with around 80 children. We work closely together between departments and have common planning time. The school is divided into four working teams: F-3, 4-6, Adapted Primary Education F-6, and leisure centers, and actively works for collaboration between the teams and school forms. We share student health services with other smaller schools in the municipality.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a leisure teacher, you will be part of a working team where you will collaborate closely around students and teaching. In addition to your time at the leisure center, you will have teaching time in primary school or be a resource in one of our classes. You actively work with pedagogical planning and constantly strive to improve your interaction with students through evaluation, reflection, and collegial learning. To ensure that students feel meaningfulness in their daily lives and that they are continuously learning for life, you will help develop an interdisciplinary approach that creates a whole for the students.

As an educator, you are goal-oriented and engaged. You see more opportunities than difficulties. A prerequisite for working with us is that you see yourself as a team player. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher in leisure education/leisure pedagogy who wants to help develop Vena leisure center. In your leadership, you start from creating good relationships with both students and colleagues. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
