We are now looking for a teacher in CNC and CAD who preferably has additional qualifications.

Your Responsibilities

The teaching role includes standard teacher duties. For example: teaching, mentoring, planning, grading, assessment, collaboration between colleagues locally and regionally, professional development, student follow-ups, development work, collaboration with other actors, participation in information meetings, etc. The work involves a lot of student contact and close collaboration with other staff.

As a teacher with us, you will meet people from many cultures and with different linguistic backgrounds.

In all activities, we work with national curricula. The courses are primarily conducted during the day. The position is based in Västervik.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in CNC and CAD work, preferably related to the manufacturing industry. If you have vocational teacher qualifications in these subjects, we consider this highly meritorious.

If you have multiple qualifications in similar subject areas or good knowledge of material processing, this is also meritorious.

It is very important that you have good pedagogical skills, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to motivate and engage. We also prefer candidates with excellent computer skills. Important qualities include the ability to collaborate and being unpretentious. We work at a fast pace, and you need to be flexible and able to handle stress.

It is important that you, as a teacher, can meet our students at the knowledge level they are at, with respect and a trusting approach. Personal suitability and good pedagogical ability are highly valued.

The position is subject to background checks. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
