Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Jenny Nyström School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation and has over 800 students distributed across six different national programs and three introductory programs. Within Jenny Nyström School, there is also adapted upper secondary school. We are a forward-thinking school with an open climate that believes in both you as a teacher and our students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone with pedagogical experience as a teacher who can teach English. You should have good collaboration skills with students, teachers, and other school staff, as well as clear leadership and a strong belief in students' ability to achieve good academic results. You should be a collegial colleague who drives school development within your subject team. You should have good teamwork skills and be passionate about pedagogical and didactic processes.

Since we work with a one-to-one concept, ICT is a natural part of the teaching. We consider personal suitability and it is important that you want to acquire new knowledge and develop your teaching profession. You who apply should be flexible and creative, with good ideas on how teaching and the school can develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be qualified, you must have upper secondary teacher qualifications according to the provisions of the Education Act (SFS 2011:326). You are qualified to teach English. You should be interested in working in teams and subject groups and participating in various development groups. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the teaching profession.

OTHER

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work within the school must be presented.
