Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have about 4000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Lars Kagg School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation. The school has about 1300 students and approximately 130 employees. Here, both vocational programs and college preparatory programs are offered. We provide a friendly and pleasant workplace with dedicated colleagues in a developing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an educational assistant/student assistant for one of our students. The main task is to assist our student with daily tasks and to serve as a resource in the school alongside the library, the school's resource center, and the school's social pedagogue. You will coach and support all our students in what they need to develop and experience a professional school day.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is an advantage if you have worked with young people. A high school education in Child and Leisure or Health and Care or educational assistant training is beneficial. You are flexible and willing to help where needed. You have a good demeanor, can communicate clearly, have empathetic abilities, and find it easy to work in a team. A service-oriented approach is a given in our operations. Here, we help each other so that everyone can grow and develop. This also applies to you, where you will have the opportunity to develop in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams and through continuous professional development.

OTHER

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work within schools must be presented.

The position will be filled provided that it is not needed by surplus staff or that necessary political decisions are made.
