Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation responsible for conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees spread across our five schools.

Jenny Nyström School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation and has over 800 students distributed across six different national programs and three introductory programs. Within Jenny Nyström School, there is also an adapted upper secondary school. We are a forward-thinking school with an open climate that believes in both you as a teacher and our students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher for one of our introductory programs. The main task is to lead students in their learning both academically and socially, together with colleagues. You will coach and support students in what they need to develop. You will work as a team and be with the student throughout the school day, which is individually tailored to each student's needs. This involves both the students' personal development, assistance with pedagogy, contact with guardians, and care. We work systematically to ensure that we create accessible learning for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is an advantage if you have worked with youth on the autism spectrum and youth with NPF diagnoses. You are flexible and willing to help where needed. You have a good demeanor, can communicate clearly, have empathetic abilities, and find it easy to work in a group. A service-oriented approach is a given in our operations. Here, we help each other so that everyone can grow and develop.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work within schools must be presented.
