Albäcksskolan is a grades 7-9 school in central Hultsfred. The school has about 350 students who, together with the staff, are divided into working teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a special educator at Albäcksskolan, you will work in relation to learning, health, and development based on a conscious approach to participation and accessibility. In the following contexts, you will have the chance to influence the design of pedagogical practice:

  • You will be part of the school's student health team and the municipality's overarching special education network.
  • You will primarily work health-promoting and preventive in collaboration with external actors, working teams, subject teams, and/or individual educators. In ongoing communication with the principal, decisions will be made regarding your remedial work. This involves meeting students individually and/or in smaller groups in teaching over time and conducting periodic intensive interventions.
  • You will lead the processes regarding the investigation and decision of special support and distribute tasks to identify, analyze, and enable successful learning. You are responsible for documentation and will establish action programs. In collegial contexts, you will lead the evaluation/analysis of implemented measures and document systematically to support the quality work of the organization.
  • You will lead pedagogical development regarding organization, group, and individual support levels through analyzing different learning environments. Your critical approach in collaboration with other educators, student health teams, and school management is considered to have great significance regarding opportunities for all students to develop and reach their full potential.
  • You will contribute to pedagogical development of the support level management and stimulation in collaboration with other educators, student health teams, and school management.
  • You are a qualified conversation partner with a guidance and advisory responsibility and communicate from a relational perspective focusing on enabling and maintaining trusting relationships. The interpersonal meeting is central, and you understand and recognize the importance of teaching as genuine communication and social practice. Additionally, you can adopt a challenging and loving perspective in how to problematize school difficulties concerning the school as an organization and social institution.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical education and who is a qualified special educator. Experience from similar tasks is meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

If you are considered for the position, you must be able to submit a criminal record extract from the Police.
