The Children and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and community orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is that the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality should have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a primary school teacher, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well acquainted with the primary school curriculum and used to working with current goals and quality standards within the primary school. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set by the primary school curriculum, contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the primary school's mission with good quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the school's activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades F-6, technology, and sports. If you have experience working in primary school, we see it as an advantage.

To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are a confident and stable leader who works to create motivation, engagement, and participation among both students and colleagues. You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to others in an open and attentive manner both in your teaching and in the daily life of the school. In this way, you contribute to creating an open and unpretentious collaborative climate where questions and potential challenges can be resolved constructively, and where everyone takes shared responsibility for achieving set goals. This approach means that you find it easy to build good and trusting relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues.

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible person who is comfortable planning and structuring your work based on current goals and quality standards within the primary school. At the same time, we value innovative thinking in the operation and would like you to be a person who brings ideas and new thoughts that you also implement in practice to contribute to the development of both daily work and the operation as a whole.

The position is a parental leave substitute. Possible extension during the spring.
