JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission with us is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet. Your main task will be to work as a student coach. The focus will be on students' attendance, well-being, goal fulfillment, study techniques, and social relationships. It is important that you create good relationships, socialize, observe, and be a safe support for the students.

Main Responsibilities:

• coach and teach students in small and large groups
• study support, find flexible and individual solutions
• motivational, coaching, and guiding conversations
• follow up on absences and promote attendance
• support teachers and other staff regarding motivation and preventive work
• create a sense of safety
• be available as support in planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching for students

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to have good collaboration skills, be able to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. While you have good collaboration skills, you also need to be self-driven and take responsibility for the tasks of the assignment. You need to be able to create contacts and maintain relationships, which means having a relationship-building approach.

As we are a developing organization where we constantly meet changes and students with different needs and conditions, you need to have a high degree of flexibility and be structured. In our mission, we aim to support students in achieving the goals of primary school, which requires you to work towards the organization's goals for good goal fulfillment. A good coaching approach characterized by a positive view of students, where each student is met based on their conditions, is a must as you will be the one to lead and motivate the student towards lifelong learning.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, such as being action-oriented, relationship-building, and having an approach in meeting the student, as well as results from and your previous experiences of working as a student coach. You need to have knowledge of and experience with NPF.

It is required that you are an experienced IT user as Google Classroom is used as a pedagogical learning platform.
