About Vallhallaskolan

Vallhallaskolan is beautifully located in the middle of Oskarshamn's city park. Every day, 670 students in grades F-9 are taught by about 85 educators. The school also includes two after-school centers and a youth center open in the evenings for our young people. The educators are divided into 6 teams with corresponding team leaders. The school's management group includes the principal, three assistant principals, and the team leaders. At Vallhallaskolan, there is dedicated staff with a positive and inclusive approach who want to provide students with a good school. The educators' experience and competence are utilized to achieve a holistic view and high quality. We achieve good results and are looking for employees who can contribute to this. We place great emphasis on the teacher building functioning relationships and that students have knowledge of what abilities are assessed in each subject.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two individuals who will be responsible for substitute coordination in grades F-9, including after-school care at Vallhallaskolan, as well as substituting at the school. The positions are full-time, 100% each. You will work closely with principals, teachers, administration, and be engaged in the operations. Administrative tasks are included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license who enjoys working with children and youth. We believe you are independent, meticulous, structured, flexible, and proactive. You have a professional and service-oriented demeanor. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy teamwork. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We prefer that you have experience working in the educational field. It is important to us that you can build good relationships, are attentive, clear, creative, and meet each student based on their individual circumstances. You are confident and solution-oriented with a positive attitude. We want you to be an experienced IT user. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
