About the position

We at Perido are now looking for an accounting assistant on behalf of our client, an educational institution located in Uppsala.

Your tasks

In this role, you will step in and be responsible for various financial administrative matters. More specifically, your daily tasks may include:

• working with ongoing accounting and bookkeeping
• working with general ledger
• working in financial systems (Proceedo, Raindance, Primula)
• coding
• checking invoices, preparing data processing materials, and reconciling account balances
• working with accounts payable and receivable
• responding to inquiries about incoming and outgoing payments

Your qualities

To succeed as an accounting assistant, it is important to be meticulous and structured, as the job involves handling numbers, invoices, and bookkeeping where precision is crucial. A good analytical ability helps identify discrepancies and ensure accurate financial documentation. The role also requires responsibility and independence, as many tasks need to be managed efficiently and on time. At the same time, collaborative skills are valuable, as the work often involves contact with colleagues, suppliers, and other departments.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent education
• At least one (1) year of work experience as an accounting assistant
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent (specifically Excel)
• Knowledge of financial systems (Proceedo, Raindance, Primula)
• Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

• Good knowledge of English

Scope and start date

Full-time, consultancy assignment until 2025-06-30. Start as soon as possible.
