What We Do and Want

The child and youth units consist of two teams that work closely together to investigate and follow up on interventions for children and young people aged 0-20 years who need our support.

Under the leadership of two unit managers, we have a reception group, two investigation groups, and an intervention group. Each group has a group leader, providing close supervision. The units share 2 administrators and 1 coordinator and belong to the Labor Market and Social Administration. We see ourselves as one unit, so in addition to your small group, you will also have a large group of colleagues to enjoy working with.

About the Position

We are now looking for a social worker for our reception group. The reception group consists of 6 social workers and a group leader and works with authority exercises regarding children and young people and their families. The reception receives applications and reports of concern regarding children and young people in the age group 0-20 years, and as a social worker, your main task is to assess whether an investigation should be initiated or not. You will work with preliminary assessments and conduct ongoing safety assessments during the work process. The job also involves writing statements according to LuL and in driving license matters. Additionally, the reception is the face to the school and other collaboration partners, and you as an employee will therefore participate in various collaboration forums based on interest.

We work in teams and support each other, and you will receive support from the group leader in daily work and decision-making. In Tyresö, we have a strong focus on collaboration, and we therefore work coordinated with other units and continuously develop our working methods to ensure that those we meet receive the best combined expertise based on their needs.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker and has experience in authority exercises within social services for children and youth care. We would like you to have worked with Signs of Safety and/or MI and be well acquainted with BBIC. Collaboration is a significant part of your work, and the ability to cooperate is a prerequisite, but you can also work independently and take responsibility for ensuring that your tasks maintain good quality. Documentation comes naturally to you, and you are clear in your communication.

Your approach is described as good and professional as you will often meet individuals in vulnerable situations. Like us, you can share both successes and challenges, and in you, we find a colleague with whom we can laugh during coffee breaks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
