We are now looking for another personal assistant to our wonderful team, where you will work with a 7-year-old girl who lives in a townhouse in Nynäshamn with her mom, dad, and three cats.

About the position:

You will assist the girl with everything in her daily life. Training, feeding, personal hygiene, administering medication, reading books, and accompanying her to school. Introduction will take place on-site, where you will work alongside a colleague until you feel comfortable working independently.

About the client:

The girl loves music and books, and everything related to Peppa Pig. She has an undiagnosed brain condition that results in very difficult-to-treat epilepsy and brain damage. She is wheelchair-bound and has reduced function primarily on the right side of her body. The girl has a button on her stomach for tube feeding and fluids, but also eats by mouth. She attends an adapted school part-time.

About you:

We are looking for someone who loves children. It is an advantage if you have worked with children before and/or in care. You speak, read, and write good Swedish. It is also an advantage if you can speak English. You are smoke-free during working hours and are not allergic or afraid of cats.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, responsible, receptive, physically fit, and has a strong personality. Personal chemistry between you and the family is important. We parents are often at home and would like you to be someone we can talk and joke with, and that you become a natural part of our daily life. You will perform important work and be a source of security in the girl’s life, as well as in the rest of the family’s. It is important for us that you see the client as a person and look beyond her disabilities and illness.

Working hours and salary:

One position is available for approximately 50%. You should be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Opportunities for extra work may occur. Fixed hourly wage with OB supplement & vacation pay. Generous wellness allowance of 4,000/year.
