My name is Sofia, I am 21 years old and have a severe intellectual disability. This means that I cannot speak and need support with most things in life. However, I can walk, and I am generally always happy. Many people who work with me think I am a joy spreader. I love music, good food, and riding (especially trotting), and it is to be able to ride that I need your help as my companion every Saturday for about 2.5 hours.

I live in Fisksätra, Nacka, and ride at Gladö Riding School in Haninge. You will need to accompany me in a taxi from home to the stable and back, help me put on my helmet and vest, support me in getting on and off the horse, and lead the horse during the lesson. This means you need to have good horse experience and preferably have experience in meeting people with intellectual disabilities. You will receive a good introduction to how riding works for me from my mom so that you feel comfortable.

Salary:
Individual salary setting. Hourly/monthly salary. Collective agreement exists: KFO-Communal.

Start date:
By agreement. We will continuously call for interviews, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

To be employed as a respite caregiver or companion, you must have a valid extract from the criminal record. The police processing time can be up to two weeks - order your record extract as soon as possible.
