Social Worker in Social Psychiatry

We are expanding our team with a colleague in the adult investigation and follow-up group focusing on social psychiatry.

The position is a fixed-term employment. We are looking for someone who wants to seize the opportunity to work in an engaged and motivated team and contribute to our future development work.

Your mission:

The adult investigation and follow-up group is tasked with ensuring that adults in Nacka with substance abuse and social psychiatric issues receive the support they need to live under safe and good conditions. The unit continuously captures the target group's need for support and develops new interventions as needed. Competence and operational development are our focus, and our employees are our most important resource.

We have seen an increase in the target group within social psychiatry and changes over the past few years. We are working intensively to adapt our operations to the changing needs of our target group.

At the care unit in Nacka, we strive to work evidence-based. Within social psychiatry, we use the assessment tool IBIC. A prioritized area is a holistic view and coordination. We have a family-oriented approach where we systematically coordinate around families that are or may become relevant for support interventions within social services.

The group is divided into different focuses: young adults, adults over 23 years, social psychiatry, and social rental contracts with responsibility for eviction prevention work. Two experienced group leaders support employees in their daily work and drive decisions and development issues made together with the employees. The workgroup is helpful, ambitious, and has a good community.

The role of a social worker in social psychiatry includes, for example:

• Receiving applications and conducting qualified investigations as well as assessing the need for interventions according to the Social Services Act.
• Making decisions and following up on interventions according to applicable legislation and delegation, as well as ongoing documentation.
• Building good relationships and collaborating with both internal partners and external ones.
• Participating in the development work within the unit.

Your experience:

• Degree in Social Work.
• You have an easy time expressing yourself in speech and writing.
• Good documentation skills.

Meritorious:

• MI and IBIC.
• Experience in authority exercise for our target groups and comorbidity.
• Knowledge of current legislation.
