Ljungbacken Preschool

Ljungbacken Preschool is located in Käppala on southern Lidingö, close to both nature and water. The preschool has three units, two for children aged 1-3 years and one for children aged 4-6 years. The educators collaborate extensively between the units regarding teaching and thematic work. Currently, an accessibility initiative is being implemented together with a special educator from Lidingö municipality, aimed at ensuring that every child receives the education they are entitled to.

Lidingö municipality has 20 municipal preschools. They differ in pedagogical focus, composition of child and staff groups, design of facilities, and work plans. What unites them is the mission to lay the foundation for lifelong learning, based on the Education Act and the preschool curriculum.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a substitute at Käppala Preschool means that you will replace a regular educator for a shorter or longer period. Together with competent educators, you will help ensure that the children at the preschool have safe, fun, and meaningful days both indoors and outdoors.

The preschool focuses on language and joy of movement. The children have access to varied teaching, both indoors and outdoors, and have the privilege of visiting and using the school's library, gym, music room, and cafeteria every week. The preschool is located within the Ljungbacken school area and shares leadership with the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are expanding our wonderful preschool and are therefore looking for engaged substitutes who want to be part of our team. Experience in pedagogical work is advantageous, but the most important thing is that you are flexible, have a genuine interest in children of different ages, and have a good command of Swedish.
