Your Workplace

Vårdcentralen Kil has nearly 12,000 registered patients and about 35 employees. We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. We are a great team that really enjoys working together and caring for each other!

The health center is beautifully located about 20 kilometers north of Karlstad and has good transport connections, with both bus and train available as options. You will work in a team with doctors (district, ST, and AT doctors), nursing assistants, medical secretaries, foot care therapists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and janitors. The health center also has physiotherapy services, BMM, BVC, and a laboratory.

Your Responsibilities

As a district nurse, you will perform standard tasks within primary care, such as independent outpatient work and telephone advice. In acute care situations, our approach is based on a cross-professional acute team. We also offer specialist nursing consultations for diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia. At Vårdcentralen Kil, we use the Cosmic journal system and also supervise students from various educational levels.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed district nurse or nurse, preferably with further education in diabetes, asthma/COPD, or dementia, but this is not a requirement. We place great importance on your ability to collaborate, flexibility, a structured working method, and taking responsibility for your tasks and assignments. We appreciate curiosity and a desire to develop. Your personal qualities, including a good attitude towards patients, relatives, and colleagues, are highly valued.
