In the dialysis unit, there are a total of 22 patient places where patients come for their kidney replacement treatment (hemodialysis) and 6 patient places in the self-dialysis unit where patients perform parts of or their entire dialysis treatment themselves (self-care). Some patients perform their hemodialysis treatment at home after training in the self-dialysis unit.

The operation is part of the inpatient care area. Our working hours are Monday to Friday day (07:00-15:30) and evening (11:30-20:00) as well as Saturday-Sunday day (07:30-15:30).

Your Tasks

As a nurse, you will lead and be responsible for hemodialysis treatments, plan and organize daily operations, and be the primary responsible person for patients regarding rounds and sampling. Nurses and nursing assistants work in teams around the patients, providing good support for each other.

The dialysis unit has both planned and acute operations. The majority of patients have chronic kidney failure and need hemodialysis treatment several times a week. Therefore, staff members have close contact with the patients. Since the work also involves handling technical equipment, it is beneficial to have a certain technical interest.

The onboarding process is individually tailored over 10-12 weeks, and you will have two main supervisors.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in nursing is meritorious but not a requirement. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience in dialysis and a technical interest.

Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities, and we value flexibility, teamwork, and a holistic view highly. As a person, you are secure, loyal, and have a positive attitude towards work.
