About the role

As a group leader, your primary task is to coach and work in the daily care activities together with the team. This means that you are a role model for your employees, and through your strong commitment, you create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You will work during the day, on weekends, and in the evenings.

• Close leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your workgroup and are involved in developing and quality-assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have several group leader colleagues, and you collaborate, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
• Participation: As a group leader, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management team.

About Åsbacka

Åsbacka is a nursing home for people with dementia or age-related physical illnesses. We offer individually tailored care based on the national values for elderly care. We focus on each resident's needs, strengthen what is healthy, and work to maintain function with care, integrity, and choice.

Åsbacka is located in central Molkom, thirty kilometers north of Karlstad, with a view of the beautiful Molkom Lake. Here, you are close to both services and nature.

• Activity Coordinator: We work systematically with activities and have an activity coordinator who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
• Dementia Certification: We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and interaction through the Dementia Academy. You will also undergo this training.
• Needs-based wish schedule: We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you and your employees have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and wishes. We create schedules for 10 weeks at a time.
• Young Care: We collaborate with the company Young Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and during school breaks. Young Care engages in various activities together with us who work here, to enhance the quality of life for the residents.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a trained nursing assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is an asset for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
