Your Workplace

The ambulance service in Värmland is county-wide with ambulances located in twelve towns. We are looking for a new team member for the ambulance station in Arvika. The ambulance service faces challenges in the emergency care of the injured and sick in various environments. Through assessment and referral, we ensure that care is provided at the right level.

We strive for a good work environment with stimulating tasks and individually tailored onboarding. All new employees undergo a 4-week introduction and position training.

Your Responsibilities

The ambulance in Arvika is looking for a paramedic/nurse for both day and night shifts. The job includes assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients to the appropriate level of care, as well as standard nursing tasks within ambulance care.

Health and medical care is based on our patients' needs and our employees' competencies. We want to advance healthcare together with our staff.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed paramedic/nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience. A B driver's license is required with at least 3 years of driving experience. A C1/C driver's license is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, and flexible. You are self-sufficient in your work but also enjoy collaborating with other colleagues.

Before any employment, you will need to complete work tests and undergo an approved health check conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
