We are looking for a school nurse who wants to be part of our student health team together with the school doctor, school counselor, special educator, and principal.

As a school nurse at the Estetiska skolan, you will work with students in grades 7-12. Your work is preventive and health-promoting. Your tasks include health conversations and vaccinations according to the basic program. You will receive students both in your own clinic and together with the school doctor.

In the work of the student health team, you will contribute with medical expertise. The student health team collaborates with other staff at the school and guardians to provide good conditions for students' health, development, and learning.

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has further education as a specialist nurse with a focus on school nursing, district nursing, or a specialist focus on health care for children and adolescents.

Important qualities include being creative, curious, and interested in testing new exciting ideas. You are flexible and have the ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and staff. As a school nurse, you are good at planning and organizing your work and working independently. You are structured and meticulous when it comes to preparation, documentation, and follow-up. Great emphasis is placed on personality, strong commitment, and experience.

The position is approximately 40-50%. Other arrangements can be discussed.

Start date is August 2025 or according to agreement.

Estetiska skolan is celebrating 20 years! We are an independent school run by a non-profit association. We have both middle school and high school with a total of about 200 students. Here, the student is at the center.

We are members of the Association of Ideological Schools, a coalition of schools that share an important commonality; we do not distribute profits. Instead, we believe that education should be conducted with the joy of seeing people develop as the primary driving force. The funds that follow a student in the form of school funding go directly to improving the school and teaching. Therefore, our school is run by a non-profit association.

We have been located centrally in Arvika since 2004.
